By February 7, 2020 April 17th, 2020 No Comments

Nicole, 33-year-old female, married (10 yrs). Two daughters ages 4 years and 10-months. Thirty pounds overweight.

Condition: Drop Foot

Drop Foot is a gait abnormality in which the dropping of the forefoot happens due to weakness, irritation, or damage to the fibular nerve including the sciatic nerve or paralysis in the muscles in the anterior portion of the lower leg. The condition, which can be temporary or permanent, is a symptom of an underlying problem rather than a disease itself.

Nicole is an employee at one of our doctor’s clinics in Frisco, Texas, who suffers from drop foot. Juan Arellano, Jr., our chief scientist, immediately felt drawn to kickstart her recovery and help her overcome this debilitating condition.

Over 15 years ago Nicole was projected out the back window in a vehicular accident. Having suffered considerable damage, Nicole has undergone many surgeries and intensive rehabilitation to restore her body’s functionality and diminish pain.

Nicole has been unable to jog/run since the accident and because her balance is so uneven, she avoids carrying her baby. “I am so worried about falling with my baby, I will not hold her;” said Nicole.  She has to simply watch as her husband safely holds their little one.

We wanted to do all we could to help Nicole regain her strength so she can return to a normal life as the amazing, hands-on mother she is.

To treat Nicole’s drop foot we used our MSK product.  MSK  is manufactured in an FDA registered laboratory (#3013913163).

The first video titled “Before” shows that Nicole has no sensitivity to touch on her foot and has very little mobility. She has uncomfortable feelings from the top of her foot and several areas that have no response to touch. The second video titled “After” shows significant improved mobility and she can feel touch.  Please note the color change in her skin signifying better circulation and blood flow.

So far, having treated her for three months, we have seen 50% improvement. Our timeline to gain 80% improvement is 3 – 6 months.

Nicole planned a camping trip with her husband for Summer 2020. She never thought she would be able to make a trip like this again.  OneCord Lab is committed to making her recovery a reality for her family!
